You’ve never had as much fun as you’re about to have fishing with Chuck! Fishing is one of the most relaxing and long-practiced sports/hunting activities.
If you’ve never caught a fish for yourself before, now is your chance! It’s such a rewarding feeling and an experience you won’t soon forget. Fishing does require quite a bit of skill, but in the end it all comes down to luck and patience. Fishing could even make for a good romantic get away for you and your significant other! If you’ve got any questions at all about fishing or outdoor activities as a whole, we’ll gladly do our best to answer them and help you out!
While we have you, we want the chance to talk to you about conservation, keeping our waters full of fish for future generations to catch! Boats with engines, leaking or not, pollute the waters they’re in with fuel and oil just as you drive around. If you truly want to fish with the fish in mind, you should fish from the shore or get a boat that you can propel yourself!
Lastly, we want to talk about your fishing pole. In the end it generally comes down to fly fishing vs spin fishing. Note that it’s called this because the reel spins itself as the line comes in or out with the handle. Fly fishing is done all by hand, you use your hand to hold and release more line into the water. This increased control is why fly fishing is used in moving bodies of water, while spin fishing is generally reserved for still water. To a novice, fly fishing appears to be drastically more difficult than spin fishing. But, it’s actually not! It’s just a totally different way of doing things, but in reality is no harder if you know what you’re doing. Your success with either will come down to your comfort with your pole and just the mood of mother nature. Best of luck to you!
